It’s the 176th day of
the year, but on the 173rd, I was going to whine about how massage therapists
always leave, how this time it’s Meredith, and when I recently canceled my massage, when I was sick, I
did in fact give up my last chance with her, the empathic one. Which sucks.
Do you by chance have a massage school near you? I used to get massages there for $25/hr. You have to fill in a short evaluation form; no big deal. I had only one bad massage there, whereas I've paid lots more for bad massages elsewhere. But the school closed.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter gave me a gift certificate for two massages for my birthday. She warned me that the massage therapist was undergoing a double mastectomy in May, so I should wait before making an appointment. I've been reluctant to call, wondering how long it will take post-surgery for her to want to go back to a job that involves so much arm effort.
I hope it works out. I am one of the few people who don't like massages.
ReplyDeleteI adore massages. I prefer massage therapists not to talk. So as long as they give a decent, strong, therapeutic massage, I'm happy.
