covid notes 5

Some of my friends clearly think I am way too careful about social-distancing stuff. Other friends clearly think I am way too lax about it. I feel judged most of the time. I may be imagining some judgment, but not all of it. I am judging other people too.

  1. This is ALL TRUE. I sat by a friend's poolside watching my 11 year old and her 11 year old and his sister swim while we judged other people. Our kids were swimming together! And we were judging. I cannot stop judging my father's ridiculous behavior. And yet my sister thinks I'm too lax and I don't understand what she is facing (grocery worker). No one is doing this right.

  2. I love this. Most people here were following the rules - which fortunately were clear. But I judged people on my walks - the ones stopping to chat, or those not moving aside. There was a lot of misjudgement too - nobody seems to know what two metres (six feet-ish) actually is!

  3. Yep, I judge and am probably judged in return.
