128/365/Food in 55/Old Bay Steamed Shrimp

In Baltimore I jumped at the chance to eat shrimp steamed in Old Bay seasoning. Hadn’t had any in years. I had to share those perfect, expensive examples, but I got more (less expensive, less perfect) at that new bourbon bar in Westminster, then they appeared among the appetizers at the wedding. Major cholesterol score!

  1. Love shrimp. Don't get to eat them often at all. Have no idea what Old Bay seasoning is, but you still had me drooling.

  2. I have a history of buying Old Bay seasoning, letting it sit in the pantry until I decide I should throw it out, and then buying a new one to replace it. I should do better with this (among other things).

I'm not sure eating high-cholesterol foods actually raises one's cholesterol. It doesn't seem to work that way with me. Saturated fat is my culprit.

    1. I have that issue with Old Bay too. And Penzey's, truth be told. I need to get better about this.
