I
keep thinking I still like donuts. When we were teenagers, my sister and I
could split a dozen in a sitting (me four, she eight). They have to be the cake
kind, not fluffy. Now when I get a donut, they disappoint, and I feel, well, off afterward. I think it might be over.
I have similar sentiments about pancakes.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I think I still like donuts, but choose to not eat them. I only eat apple cider donuts though, on the rare occasions I find them.
ReplyDeleteDona, I almost mentioned apple cider donuts, because I still go to my friends' orchard for my annual one or two. They are better.
DeleteI hardly ever have donuts. Donut stalls are only just starting to make an appearance here in NZ. But I have fond memories of Dunkin' Donuts in Bangkok when I was 17.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of hot Krispie Creme donuts. They are like crack, yes. No redeeming characteristics.
ReplyDeleteToo light and fluffy. Must. Have. Cake.
