Petr shares his best alcohol with us: Czech slivovitz, Havana Club rum (Cuban), tonight the Alchemist beers (Skadoosh, Focal Banger, Heady Topper, Alena) and Collective Arts basil and cranberry gose. He knows we know what we’re drinking and we know he does too. The good stuff for those who appreciate and love. And we love him.

    I am intimidated by people who know what they're drinking. I want to be one of those people, but don't really have the memory for it (although I think "Focal Banger" and "Skadoosh" may be retrievable at some later point).

    I'm always looking for interesting beers (usually IPAs) for my son, but haven't seen Alchemist. It's probably regional. Are you anywhere near Magic Hat? The former brewmaster was a close friend of my kids. Wonderful guy. Died way too young.

    We have wine friends/family like that. It's nice being able to appreciate and love all at the same time.
