Oh Vitamix, thou art superior to all other blenders before
thee, a parade of $200 wannabes who couldn’t hack (at least not for long) the
daily grind of frozen fruit to be blended into soy milk, peanut butter, and
bran, and now, heavenly Vitamix, I believe in thee, and sometimes even turn to
thee to puree soup, make hummus, ice cream.
Ha! Now I am hungry.
ReplyDeleteI have been waffling for over a year about buying ("investing in" might be more accurate) a Vitamix. I'm taking this post as a sign that I should stop waffling and start buying.
ReplyDeleteDo they still have a 7-year warranty? Something to think about!
DeleteAre these the people I see giving demos at Costco? I tend to believe you get what you pay for, but haven't been able to bring myself to fork over for one yet.
ReplyDeleteMmmm, soup, hummus, ice-cream.
ReplyDeleteAn ode to a trusty appliance! Better than an urn any day.
ReplyDeleteDitto Sabine. I hear people rave about them all the time, but the thing is, I don't blend anything.
ReplyDeleteI love this ode.
