214/365/Poetry and Form

The last book I blurbed was a book of (fishing-themed) poetry. Some of it I liked quite a lot. Some of it was fine. (Isn’t that how we feel about most people’s work?) When I wrote the blurb, I avoided saying “I liked it” or “I didn’t.” I tried to avoid summary or spoiler. My blurb appeared at the top of the back cover, but probably because the blurbers appeared alphabetically.

W.G. casts line after line to words evocative of place and purpose, luring them to sip, bite, catch.
