DeleteAt the risk of sounding like I'm painting an entire group with a broad brush (that can't be right - what is that saying? I haven't had my coffee yet) I think all young women should have a gay man for a BFF. I didn't, but my daughter has several and they really have been the most enduring, caring friendships of her life.
