84/365/Secrets and Lies in 56

Peter the poetry prof presumed (possibly preferred the idea) that Kim and I were past platonic; the possibility was pooh-poohed. Had he predicted that someday I’d pack up and pop down to Pennsylvania to pick her up for a k.d. lang performance, he’d probably see it as proof of his prescience or public admission of perjury.

  2. Margaret Atwood wrote a children's book "Princess Prunella and and the Purple Peanut". I listened to her explain the P is the funniest letter on a radio interview. How was k.d?

  3. Ah, Peter, a poet who pontificated about an Idiot Princess, and now lives in Palmetto, FL. Who we knew was a bit of a prick, albeit only peevishly so. He would have been proud, and perplexed, and perhaps even poisonously petty, about our peregrination. (And sadly, I do miss him, a tiny bit!)

    2. And I was enrolled, but burned out before finishing my MFA. It was a pretty inferno!
